Temecula California 3rd annual tail gate October 27th -29th-Stewart Mine,Oceanview Mine gems

Alot of rockhounds have had some experence with my Diehard
Rockhounds Group,Positive and Negative.
When I came on to this seen about 3&1/2 years ago I was trying to
decide wether to join a rock club or not.

The more I looked into things the more I wanted not to belong to any
group.
My main pourpose was to go collecting various minerals with a group
of people who knew what they were doing,and where they were
going,after all I at the time knew zero.
It seemed that there were not very many groups going out on
fieldtrips,and if they did it was a few times a year.
I had heard of one group who just drove up to a site and did little
more than get out of their cars and bend over and pick up certian
minerals,then drove to another site and etc.
I figured that for the price of paying to be a member that at least
they could go on more fieldtrips.
After all what do rockhounds do?
They find rocks.
So I with the help and input of a few serious fellows formed our own
group.
More like a anti group.
No dues,no meetings,Just Fieldtrips.
We actually conduct our bussiness on the net or when we meet for a
fieldtrip.
The only thing different about us is every one trys to help out with
what they can if they can.
Such as someone may volenteer to help pass out hold harmless
agreements prior to a fieldtrip,One person donated a 24 inch saw for
our use,another donated some minerals for us to sell at our
tailgates.Some lead fieldtrips to help out in their own way.
No one is expected to do anything but it seems that all of our needs
get met.
So now here we are again,Our 3rd annual tail gate is This October
27th -29th two weeks away.
there is still lots of spaces to sell your minerals,it still costs
zero to sell,and this year its open to anyone,not just diehards.
we came up with a unique way to help the people selling to sell more.
We asked local Tourmaline mines for them to donate some good mine
tailings to us.
So far every year they have been great.
This year especially the gems of pala/aka Stewart Mine and the
Oceanview Mine.
Two awsome places to rockhound.
So when someone buys somthing from one of the persons selling they
receive a ticket to be redeemed for some material that they get to
screen and rinse then the fun part.remove all your minerals or gem
stones from the screen after they are clean.
This year is different,it not only has the donated material but also
it has been “Super Salted” with many many tourmaline crystals.
I have gone thru my private colection of thousands of Tourmaline
crystals and added a lot of them to the gem dig.along with
Kuntzite,Quarz Crystals,Even some Morganites,Gem Lepidiolite from
the Thursday Mine,Muskovite, Many nice Black Tourmalines, some with
Clevelandite wraped around them,Nice Rose Quartz collected from a
local Mine in San Deigo County.

Our Tailgate Takes Place at the Stagecoach inn,aprox 24 miles east
on hwy 79 just off the 15 freeway near Temecula,

The Stagecoach inn never charges us any fee to sell,although
electric power is only 5.00 per day

We are allowed to camp out right there .

Early set up will take place on Thursday after 12 noon supervised by
Diehard Rockhound Bob Fitzpatrick!

I will arive friday after work to set up.
Everyone will be able to sell Fri-Sun.

Hot food and drink is avail. from the Stagecoach inn.
They even keep the Bathroom unlocked for us all night long.

Alot of people are used to seeing us there every year.
Weather permiting its always a huge turn out.
