Thanks for the feedback as I am always looking to improve my blog!  I forwarded this email to the person who helped me create this site…

Hi Gary,

here’s a bit of feedback on your new blog.
I think pictures can make a lay out more attracting. I feel that the thumbnails are just too small.
Also I am used that pictures are clickable, to switch to a larger/closer view.

One reason I took my lapidary pictures with the stone in my hand is because it gives you a sense of scale. I don’t know if your picture of the broken stone in the wall is 20 or 2 cm wide since an idea of scale is missing. Just a tip.

And in wordpress did you already try to create pages. These toppics:

” Send in known spots to rockhound in your area, so I can add them to this blog and create a database.”

“Please submit articles, secret local spots, or just say hello from a club!”

might be better organized under “pages” and separated from your regular blogposts.

Goodluck with your new blog and I think posting comments and asking for feedback is a good way to attract traffic.

George, From Amsterdam Holland
