Thursday mine field trip, sign up if interested
Hello Every one,
3 years ago upon being made a partner co/owner at the Thursday Mine I
made a commitment to my self to dig as much as possible at the mine
to find its burried secrets.
Once a year I get the other partners to agree to allow my Diehard
Rockhounds and Friends {basicly my Diehards , my club mates , and
other friends.}to come to the mine and Dig.
Normaly my agreement with my partners allows only for a few persons
to accompany me when I visit the Thursday Mine when I go work at the
mine.Mainly for my own saftey.
Anyways..
On Febuary 16,17 and 18th we will be having guests at the mine.
Besides Myself some of the other Mine owners will be there,Its your
chance to meet these great guys who made me their partner.
On Friday Feb. 16th we will meet at the sunshine summit market at 7
pm.We will leave at 730pm and head towards the mine.this is located
at sunshine summit[san deigo county] off hwy 79 south[towards warner
springs area.]
On Saturday Feb. 17th I will meet all those who want to join us at 10
am.
Both Friday and Saturday we will be camping overnight.
Sunday we will be leaving around 2-3pm
WE WILL BE CHARGING 2 DOLLARS PER POUND FOR ANY MINERALS YOU WISH TO
KEEP!!
Digging,camping, eating,hanging out with friends and telling campfire
stories are free.

We sincerly ask that you let us know if you or your friends want to
go by providing me with your names etc.
Also every one must sign a hold harmless agreement prior to going to
the mine site area.
Hard Hats are provided for those wanting to work in side ether of the
two main digging areas.
Also please bring saftey goggles and gloves
no hats,no goggles,no gloves >no digging in the mine areas.
Also please bring a high clearance vehicle thats sutable for off road
traveling.no r.v.s or trailers ,
No one has ever made it to the mine in a 5th wheel or r.v.
If you bring a trailer it should be small and be pulled by a 4 wheel
drive vehicle.
Your vehicle will be checked before its allowed to go the last part
of the road up to the mine.
No 2 wheel drive vehicles will be permited up the last 2-3 hundred
feet of the road to the mine. period.
But we will be glad to take you and your stuff to the top as time
permits.
The parking area below the mine is just 10 minutes or less of walking
time to the top of the road right near the mine.
So if interested[and remember last year there was just over 100
people who came.}
we want to keep it much smaller this year but last year was great too.

theres no meeting place for sunday and going to the mine with out an
